EASD Announces Winner of School Resource Officer Challenge Coin Contest
Owen Wolfe was named the winner of this year’s Elizabethtown Area School District School Resource Officer Challenge Coin Design Contest. Organized by SRO Jake Kadilak, the annual program recognizes students who demonstrate selflessness, leadership, kindness, and support for the school community. The district also thanks Elizabethtown Borough for sponsoring the program.
Bear Creek School Fun Run Raises Over $16,000 for Students and School Programs
Bear Creek School’s annual Fun Run brought students, families, and staff together for a day of fitness, fun, and community spirit. The event raised more than $16,000 to support educational programs, student activities, and school events, while students enjoyed a half-mile obstacle-filled course designed by the school’s PE teachers.
FBLA Students Earn State Recognition at Leadership Conference
Elizabethtown Area High School FBLA students earned statewide recognition at the Pennsylvania FBLA State Leadership Conference in Hershey. Madison Lehman placed third in Public Relations, while Benjamin Creason and Lex Hershock each earned eighth-place finishes and National Competition waitlist recognition in their respective events.

Elizabethtown Area High School Recognizes Seniors During 2026 Senior Awards Program
Elizabethtown Area High School recognized 72 graduating seniors during the 2026 Senior Awards Program held May 6 at the high school auditorium. Students received certificates, awards, and scholarships totaling more than $75,000 through the generosity of more than 55 community organizations, businesses, clubs, and individual sponsors.
EAHS Recognizes Student-Athletes During Athlete Recognition Day Ceremony
Eleven senior varsity athletes from Elizabethtown Area High School were recognized during a special ceremony celebrating their commitment to continue competing in collegiate athletics. The event, part of the school’s Athlete Recognition Day program, honored the students’ hard work, dedication, and accomplishments both in the classroom and in athletic competition.

Elizabethtown Area High School is proud to announce that its theatre program has received ten nominations and two honorable mentions from the Hershey Theatre Apollo Awards for its 2025-2026 school year productions, Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical and Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.
Elizabethtown Area School District Board Approves Hybrid Option for Secondary School Project
The Elizabethtown Area School District Board of School Directors has approved the hybrid option for the District’s future secondary school project and authorized the District to begin working with RLPS Architects on the design phase.
