Elizabethtown Area High School Students Perform at 2026 LLMEA County Band Festival

The Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association (LLMEA) selected 18 talented musicians from Elizabethtown Area High School to participate in the 2026 LLMEA County Band Festival. The festival was held January 31, 2026, at Ephrata High School and featured 179 outstanding student musicians from schools across Lancaster and Lebanon counties.

Bear Creek Teams Compete at 2026 K’NEX STEM Design Challenge

Bear Creek School proudly sent two teams to this year’s K’NEX STEM Design Challenge, joining four additional teams from two other schools for a total of six competing teams. This year’s challenge tasked students with building a prototype of a machine, or part of a factory, that incorporates sustainable practices.

Bear Creek Students Present Innovative Projects at Pennsylvania Invention Convention

Two teams of students from Bear Creek School demonstrated creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving at the Pennsylvania Invention Convention, held at the Hershey Lodge as part of the PETE&C Conference. The Pennsylvania Invention Convention recognizes young innovators who apply critical thinking and creativity to solve everyday challenges.

The Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association selected eleven talented vocalists from Elizabethtown Area High School to participate in the 2026 All-County Chorus. This year’s honorees are Ben Creason, Kiersten Erikson, Stephen Fasick, Sadie Givens, Audra Kuntz, JJ McBride, James Mott, Gia Piazza, Connor Saxon, Hayden Simione, Elaina Smith, and Makayla Weaver.

Elizabethtown Area High School Announces Honor Roll for Second Marking Period of 2025-2026

Dr. Jason D’Amico, principal of Elizabethtown Area High School, along with assistant principals Ms. Meghan Busby, Mr. Robert Crick, and Dr. Jessica Poletti, proudly announce the honor roll for the second marking period of the 2025-2026 academic year. This marking period, 403 students earned a spot on the honor roll, representing approximately 33% of the student body in grades 9-12.

EAMS Celebrates Academic Excellence with Second Marking Period Honor Roll

Dr. David Beard, principal of Elizabethtown Area Middle School, along with assistant principals Mr. Jason Kingsborough and Dr. Jessica Poletti, proudly announce the honor roll for the second marking period of the 2025-2026 school year. This marking period, 267 students - representing approximately 33% of the student body in grades 6–8 - demonstrated outstanding academic achievement to earn a place on the honor roll.

Comprehensive Plan Review Period Graphic

At the February 24, 2026, regularly scheduled Board Action Meeting, the Board of School Directors approved the District’s Comprehensive Plan. In accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements, the approved Comprehensive Plan will be available for public review and comment for a period of 30 days. The public review period will run from February 25, 2026 through March 26, 2026.
