Owen Wolfe was named the winner of this year’s Elizabethtown Area School District School Resource Officer Challenge Coin Design Contest. Organized by SRO Jake Kadilak, the annual program recognizes students who demonstrate selflessness, leadership, kindness, and support for the school community. The district also thanks Elizabethtown Borough for sponsoring the program.

Bear Creek School Fun Run Raises Over $16,000 for Students and School Programs

Bear Creek School’s annual Fun Run brought students, families, and staff together for a day of fitness, fun, and community spirit. The event raised more than $16,000 to support educational programs, student activities, and school events, while students enjoyed a half-mile obstacle-filled course designed by the school’s PE teachers.

Elizabethtown Area High School Recognizes Seniors During 2026 Senior Awards Program

Elizabethtown Area High School recognized 72 graduating seniors during the 2026 Senior Awards Program held May 6 at the high school auditorium. Students received certificates, awards, and scholarships totaling more than $75,000 through the generosity of more than 55 community organizations, businesses, clubs, and individual sponsors.
